Sanam Luang & the City Pillar

Begin with Bangkok’s open ceremonial field and the civic heart of the old city. The City Pillar and Sanam Luang are both published around four hundred metres from the hostel.

  2. Walk toward Sanam Luang and the City Pillar area.
  3. Continue toward museums or the royal quarter.

Khaosan Road is published roughly half a kilometre away. Go for street food, people-watching and the neighbourhood’s high-energy evening scene, then return to Bunsiri Road.

Temple & palace morning

The Temple of the Emerald Buddha and Grand Palace are published within roughly six to eight hundred metres. Dress requirements and ticketing can change, so check official attraction guidance.

  1. Carry appropriate shoulder and knee coverage.
  2. Arrive early for lower heat and smaller crowds.
  3. Extend the day toward Wat Pho if time allows.

Temples to the river

Turn a royal-district walk into a longer route toward Wat Pho and the Chao Phraya. River transport can then connect to other parts of Bangkok.

  1. Combine palace-area sights in one morning.
  2. Continue toward Wat Pho and nearby piers.
  3. Check the latest boat route before boarding.
